There's a tiny bear in there

Met Lisa Dopking and her three lovely bear fanatic friends the other day and thought I'd show you some photos...

These little chaps are only about 3 inches tall. Campbell, the one in the brown jump suit in the centre stayed living with me..

Had to have a mouse too but Tracey put her in a little sweater and head band before leaving her

Still feeling the hole in my heart for not keeping this gorgous little chap that Loraine made..

The eyes have it! Susan is so clever!! What a cutie..

We all ended up in Lisa's studio stitching up a storm..

A couple of Lisa's beautiful babies..

My two getting ready to come home with me. Gotta admit they are the cutest ever!!

Me and my new best friends. From left, Tracey, Susan, Lisa and Loraine. I'm the one trying to hide a few in my grasp..
Lisa will be coming to teach in my shop later in the year. Can't wait!!!
Hope you are having a beary wonderful day

No idea

Ever had a time in your life when you know you ought to be working but you have no idea where to even start??
Well this disease ( I call it that as it is a very new experience for me) has infected my life and I haven't a clue which way is up.
So my way of dealing with this sort of affliction is through humor!

So here are a few random thoughts, things I have done or seen, over the last few weeks...

As always Mr Disney states it so well LOL
I look at these two cartoons on my phone regularly to keep a smile on my dial!! So thought I'd share them...
Some other adventures..

On the way home from the trade fair two weeks ago we went via Bathurst to visit Annie and Pete from Hatched and Patched.
Of course we had to drive Whinnie on 'The Track'. This was Mt Panaramor.

The famous straight. It is a 60klm zone any other day than race day so John just had to make his own noises.. LOL

Just so you know for sure we were there.

We asked Annie to take a photo of Whinnie and us and this is the photo she took... She thought it was a great photo of the two dogs! (Just wondering exactly who she was talking about!)

I know this is a terrible photo but a couple of weeks back I traveled to Stroud on NSW to teach and my lovely hostess lived on a free range chook farm. Being me, I just had to get amongst it all and here are some of the 'girls'.

All tucked up in bed safe from the wild dogs.

Gorgeous Googs from happy hens.

Stacked ready to join the rest in the cooler.

As you can see the girls had been very busy!!

We did do sewing as well. A table runner made using charm squares was one of the projects made.

Chloe had a major obsession with doileys...

Not bad for a young one just smashing a new outfit together. Chloe was taking it home to do the final touches.

Chloe and her sports coach
also made these. A pencil case and a pincushion from her doiley stash.

The one thing I did learn from the Doiley Queens, was if you need alot of one doiley or cant find different ones, buy old crochet table cloths and chop them up! It may seem obvious to you but wasn't to me!
And finally a tip sheet found in a loo of a patchwork shop recently...

I always say the only reason that I need to buy fabric is 'To have and to hold and to stroke' LOL

Hope you are having a happy day

It's all about me...

Finally gotten to load some photos of my booth from the wholesale show last weekend..

The new 'hearts and dreams' quilt. And assorted other designs filled the back wall.

Lots of pretty fabrics and designs. For the first time ever, I was really happy with how the display came together.

Always love Christmas

Found a lovely metal tree in the Tilda range to display The Decorative Table Centre complete with some of the little decorations.

The new mouse stitchery 'Peace on Earth'

Aren't they cute? This stitchery is one of my favourites!

This is the new 'Stitching Folder'. It has a pin wheel, needle case, note book and pencil case inside. I was really happy with this design as its pretty but also very useful.

For those of you that have been waiting to see what the 'designers disaster' ended up, here it is.

A lovely sewing box with pockets on the outside and the lid just fits over the bottom. No zips!
Was pleased with the end result even if we started out a bit rough!!!

Some more stitcheries and cushions. Have been going a bit nuts with cushions this year...
So all in all I was really happy with the stand, the show, and all the crazy antics we did. Looking back I have to wonder what on earth were we thinking sometimes, but we have lots of fun memories!
And I guess that is what I love the most, the memories...
Hope you are having a happy day

Thank artists for light

Having had a nanna nap till 9pm, we set off for dinner. The Rocks in Sydney are known for their artists.
This is exceptional

Chimes inside

The sound was amazing

These changed color

John thinks this one looked like a hair tie gone hey wire..

Just a special touch to what is a very 'normal' bridge???

My favourite (well almost)

What a chandelier

I want one..

The world really is flat

And now i know how it spins

Just because it was amazing

My absolute favourite!!

John on the run..

Me!!! Looking fabulous!!! LOL thanks to Reanna for making me look so good..

Found this in a walkway. If only everyone who did graffitti was this honest!

A harbourside restaurant where keeping the customers happy is a true priority!! They were lounging watching the lights on the opera house

Moving art. It was this big!!!

Whinnie watching it all happening. Thankfully we just drive 50 metres up the ramp onto the flat so we can sleep flat..

The real me having a hoot!!
Hope you are having a happy day
