Flowers are every where....

Happy snapped around a very small park up here on the way home from the Toowoomba Quilters Show last night.
Hope you enjoy these. (Sorry if some are a bit dark, it was getting late)

For the avid gardener i tried to include the signs with the names of the plants

I was blown away!!

These were like little cabbages

An ant was trying to take over...

Shrub sculpture was happening but i couldn't get a good photo of the ducklings..

These red ones and cream ones below are the same plant but different colours. Gorgeous!!

A statue In honour of my kids!!!

A simple lavender bush. wish i could grow one this 'simple'...

Yep this is all flowers

Gotta love this... check out the grubs shoes...

This was spectacular

This was covered in masses of tiny yellow roses..
the temptation was enormous... surely no one would notice...
then this..

Gotta love it!!!
so if you are around then Toowoomba is a place not to be missed!
and remember this was only a very very small park on Cnr West Street and Herries Road! just made my heart sing!!!
wishing you a very beautiful and happy day

All is revealed

The Stitchers Day Out weekend is sadly over for another year.
Here's all the pictures...

A class room fit for a wedding

Lollies and centre decorations to keep everyone inspired.
The theme was 'a Stitch in Time'
Three Designers, Gail Pann, Natalie Bird and myself are given 2 bundles of Fat 1/8ths to make a project with. We make two projects each. So all the girls get 6 patterns and one of which is a full kit! Bags are set out at random so it is all just a surprise!
Heres the projects..

Brights by Gail

Gail.... With an armful of demos...

Gails little bag and needlecase in other set of fabrics

Sewing folder by Natalie Bird

Lots of great pockets, needle cases etc all inside the folder.

Natalie smiling whilst waiting to start her next demonstration on zips.

This cute little mug bag and sewing trinkets case were the second pattern from Natalie

My 'stitchers Quartet' from the bright fabric.

Pincushion with a difference,

Thimble case base

Thimble case

Thread and needle case roll

Complete with little daisy buttons

Scrap bag
Then out of the second range of fabrics

Block folder complete with special limited edition buttons just for the weekend

Complete with pockets inside to hold rulers, books etc

And a doll needle case to match

Inside the doll needle case. Pockets, needle holder and long enough to hold any length of doll needle

And just to add some extra interest - here are two patterns, coming out soon. A Christmas table centre and decorations, as well as a lovely Sewing Box.
These will be released really soon!
So the weekend was fantastic and my patterns will be available in the next week or so. Both patterns ('block folder & needle case' as well as the Stitchers Quartet will also be available preprinted)
Watch this space for release dates.
Hope you are having a happy stitching day
